The Anderson Chickens!

Karen and the kids are raising the most adorable chickens! They've turned their playhouse into the coop and Karen even made a beautiful stained glass window for the ladies' house.

We had so much fun watching Ivan play t-ball. Some of the kids were"serious" players... but Ivan seemed to enjoy chatting with the crowd as much as playing!

I just looked back at those pics we took the first time we gave Jackson food...
I wanted to show you all that he does indeed love to eat! In fact, the only thing he hasn't liked was that disgusting meat stuff I fed him in those first pictures.

Fun in the baby pool!

We invested $6 in a plastic baby pool and it's proving to be a summer's worth of entertainment for all three of us.
Ben, Jackson and I all fit in the pool... and it's an amazing way to cool off on the 90+ degree Tennessee summer days!

Happy 1st Father's Day Ben

Happy 1st Father's Day Ben! We had such a fun Father's Day. As you can see, Jack and his daddy are completely decked out in Dad's day gear. Jackson just adores Ben and it's so fun to see them play together.

Jackson absolutely loves the pack-n-play! It's such a nice way for us all to enjoy the front porch.

Visiting my Best Friend!!!

While home in Aurora for my mom's birthday... Ben, Jackson and I got to spend a wonderful morning with Brooke, Ella and Evan! Look at how much Jackson loves his Auntie B! I pray that someday we live closer together... it makes my heart ache! But at least we can visit :)

Celebrating Gram's Birthday!

It was so fun being home to celebrate my mom's birthday! I love seeing her with Jackson. It reminds me how precious family is and how beautiful the circle of life is.

Wonderful Aurora Visit!

Ben, Jackson and I went home to Aurora over Memorial Day weekend to celebrate Gram's birthday! We had a wonderful weekend visiting with Uncle Matt and Auntie Joanie and cousin Josh! I can't believe how grown up Josh is... he's 14 and so smart! But what's even more special is that he's still as sweet as ever. I'm such a proud auntie!
