Jackson's new friend

Gram introduced Jackson to a new friend while we visited in California... Wally the Wabbit. Jackson then did what any good friend would do and started chewing on Wally's arm. Not all friendships are made alike!

Jack fit into the shallow shell sinks at Gram's California condo perfectly. In fact he was pretty comfortable just hanging out in the warm water. He's also just discovered his reflection! The last picture is my favorite!!!

Jackson took his first plane ride February 21st and we treked cross-country to visit Gram and Grandad in California. We had an incredible time, but missed Daddy terribly!!! Jackson was a dream on the plane and pretty much slept the entire time. Gram had an amazing way of making him laugh... check out the "patty cake" pictures below!

Jackson 8 weeks

Our precious Jackson is 2 months old! That means I only have one more month of maternity leave. My heart is already breaking thinking I'll be away from my little boy. But life is about embracing change and making life the most joy-filled it can be. I'm going to relish in this last month.

Look at the red head!

Take a look at Jackson's hair in these photos! Jackson's hair looks Ronald McDonald red! In real life, he does have a lot of red in his hair, but we think the mix of the sun and Jack's orange outfit really brought out his red roots. I know my mom will be thrilled to see his ginger hair :)
