Who said driving through the snowbelt is rough? Ben and I are officially southern woosies (sp) and forgot how rough driving through a snowstorm can be! But nothing would keep us from a Canandaigua Christmas!

After being caught in a massive snowstorm on our way to Canandaigua, NY... we decided to stop in a hotel. As you can see, Jackson loved his first hotel experience.

So this is the snowbelt?

We had a bit of a rough trip from Aurora, OH to Canandaigua, NY and had to stop in a hotel half way to Grammy's house.

Jackson meets Santa

Jackson met Santa for the first time... right on Main Street in Canandaigua. Jack wasn't so sure about the big guy, but he didn't cry.

Jack discovered Grammy's piano and played with it quite a bit! It was amazing though because he didn't bang on the keys. In a warped, "I think my son is a budding Mozart" way, he seemed like he was trying to make music.

How precious is this pic of Grammy and Jack? They both look purely happy... and that's an amazing feeling to capture in a picture.

best buddies

Jackson fell in love with Neal and pretty much didn't leave his side or his lap for much of the visit. I loved seeing the two of them together.

We had a blast playing Wii... here Holly is going for a spin.

Opening Presents!

Sarah Moon and Jackson became pals over Christmas... He loved snuggling with her.

Our present for Nathan was a big hit... ya!!! It was adorable when Nathan and Robert went on a backpack adventure through Grammy's house.

Jack was very scared of Nick's bark, but here he's being brave.

Check out the "Snowman Dance" Nathan entertained us with! Nathan was so patient... he waited all afternoon to open presents, then did a happy dance when present time finally came!

Liam & Jack

Liam & Jackson are only about 3 months apart in age. It took them a bit of warming up, but I'm sure they're going to become buddies.

Christmas at Gram and Grandaddy's

Jackson fell in love with this guitar... he wants to play like his daddy.

We had a wonderful time at my mom and dad's for Christmas! I absolutely loved being with all of my siblings. Unfortunately, I didn't take many pictures... I think I was having too much fun!
