Sunday gardener

Daddy and I released a lot of sweat and energy working on our new flower beds in the backyard. To be honest, Ben did the lions share of the work... I kept Jackson company on the blanket quite a bit :) Jack absolutely loves being outside... I thought he looked like the perfect Sunday gardner in these overalls!

Fun with Daddy

Jackson, like every baby, absolutely loves playing Superbaby! And Daddy gets a great workout by pressing our almost 17 pound baby up in the air!

Jackson's first girlfriend

Jackson and I have been having a fabulous time with our wonderful new friends Judith and Lydia (seen here) Byrd. Judith and I have decided that Jack and Lydia would make an amazing couple. For now I'm happy they enjoy sharing the floor together :)

Back to Vanderbilt

My maternity leave is officially over and I'm now back to work at Vanderbilt. I'm starting my second week back and things are going well. I'm working 30 hours a week and going each day to nurse and play with Jackson. Jackson seems to like Vanderbilt daycare and the other babies in his room are very sweet. I just hope the women who work there fall in love with him and shower him with love and cuddles!

Rock the boat!

Jackson can now roll onto his belly! He looks like a boat when he rolls over because he pulls his head and feet up and rocks on his round belly. The little nugget still has no idea how to roll onto his back, but I'm sure he'll get there soon!

Purrrr joy!

These are two of my favorite pictures we've taken recently... Jackson looks so darn sweet and Charlie is in pure heaven napping on the sleepy hollow chair. The cats are so wonderful with Jackson. They share an appreciation of cuddling on Momma's lap :)

Too much fun :)

We decided to move the giant swing upstairs and replace it with a jumparoo! Since Jackson flails his legs and arms around like a turtle on his back, we thought he'd love this toy. As you can see, he played till he pooped out!

Peas on Earth

It's my last week of maternity leave and I'm feeling nauseous. I took Jackson for a "trial run" at daycare and he seemed to have fun. Momma, on the other hand, needed a good cry. Check out these cute new pics of Jack. He's now 4 months old!
