Total Domination

August 30, 2008
Who's in control in these pictures? Jackson managed to pin down his daddy... and get hold of his favorite new toy--a rubber spatula... and grab the highly sought after cordless phone! He was in paradise!

Jack 8 months 3 weeks

Jack had been crawling around and pulling himself up like crazy here! I've started calling him "our puppy" because it seems like all he does is chew and rip things and try to climb on the furniture!

Jack's first truck

Saturday, August 30, 2008-- Jackson is 8 months and 3 weeks old!
Daddy just couldn't resist buying Jackson his first big truck. Even though Jack isn't quite big enough to climb on it himself, so far it's a big hit!

Miss Mary's Last Day

Friday, August 29, 2008
Friday was Mary's last day at the Vanderbilt Daycare. Mary was Jack's first teacher and I adored her as much as Jack did! We'll miss her so much!

Jackson is 8 months old!

I can't believe Jackson is already 8 months old!
He's such a happy buddy and he's crawling and pulling himself up like crazy. Needless to say, the cats are a little less thrilled with him. The past weeks have actually been pretty nerve-wracking for us. A few weeks ago Jack got pink eye and an ear infection. Then a week later he got another ear infection and a horrible virus called coxsackie (hand, foot and mouth.) With the coxsackie, Jackson had sores in and around his mouth and a rash all over his body. That, along with the ear infections, convinced Jack that nursing and bottle feeding were a bad idea. We had to give him fluids with a syringe and I spent many sleepless nights walking the halls with my poor crying baby. After getting three antibiotic shots, Jackson is finally better! I took the pictures below the day Jackson finally felt like his old self again.

New Red Sox Fan

Jackson, 7 months 3 weeks
Well, Ben and I have decided that Jackson can be a Red Sox fan only if he loves the Cleveland Browns during football season! Ben went on a business trip and came home with this hat. Doesn't our little slugger look adorable!

Playing with Daddy

These are the type of things that Daddy will do with Jack, that I absolutely will not!

Wolf Summer Vacation!

Jackson, Ben and I ventured onto a plane July 16-22, 2008 for our summer vacation.
We flew to Cleveland, then my parents kindly let us borrow their car and we drove to Canandaigua, NY for a Wolf family reunion. We had an incredible time and Jackson was wonderful the entire time! We miss everyone so much... and it was a thrill to have Jack meet some family members for the first time.

Jackson & Grammie

How precious is this picture?

Jackson and Grammie had a great time together. Every corner of her house is filled with magical new toys, discoveries, and stories... just waiting to be uncovered.

Marcie Visits!!!

I can't tell you how thrilled I was when my dear friend Marcie came all the way from Syracuse to visit us in Canandaigua!
She has always been one of the most loving and compassionate friends I have... and Jackson caught onto that right away!
