Our little man loved finding his first pumpkin. He has learned to say "ut-oh" and now Boo! Just in time for Halloween.

The Music City Addiction...

Well, Ben finally succumbed to the Music City addiction. He bought a guitar! We had a great time at a used music store and Ben found a very cool acoustic guitar. Jackson already loves helping him play.

Look at my messy boy! He loves feeding himself and eating grown-up food. But he puts almost as much food in his hair as he puts in his mouth. Jack was just cracking himself up below... what a character!

Snuggle time with the Anderson's

Ben, Jackson and I had a great time visiting Auntie Karen and the rest of the Anderson's in September. We ate delicious meals, did a lot of playing (and shopping!) and went to a Renaissance festival. But my favorite part of the visit was morning snuggle time!

My sister Karen is such an amazing photographer! When we visited the Anderson farm in September, Karen did a photo shoot with Jackson in her beautiful woods. It was actually the day of that crazy wind storm, so we were only outside for about 10 minutes before we thought we were going to be swept away... or a tree was going to fall on us! But take a look at the sweet photos Karen took!

How cute is this picture? We had a wonderful visit with my mom and dad! I miss them so much. It was absolutely adorable watching them play with Jackson. Of course, Jackson thought they were thoroughly entertaining. These trips have become more and more precious to me because I miss my family so much.

Jack Daniels Distillery Tour

We've found another fun gem here in good ole' Tennessee... and his name is

Jack Daniels.
We toured the Jack Daniels Distillery in Lynchburg, TN... which is about an hour away from our house. The tour was fascinating and, not surprisingly, there were quite a few characters who worked there! The county where this famous whiskey is made is actually a "dry" county, but all employees receive free whiskey every Friday.
