I love my boys!!!

Jackson has become obsessed with playing with our mixing bowls. He's actually really good at using them as drums.
Auntie Dana sent a box full of gifts for Jackson and Luke. A hat and mittens were Jack's favorite.
Home from the hospital...
November 1, 2009-- Luke is 4 days old
Our first hour home from the hospital... we saw Gram and Jackson playing on the playground, so we all enjoyed an amazingly warm and sunny day. How wonderful to finally have the whole family together!

7 lb 15 oz, 20 inches
Our precious boy is finally here! He is such a sweet and laid back baby... I am so blessed to have two happy and easy boys!
I had a planned c-section early in the morning with no complications. I was definitely still scared, but the doctors and nurses at Vanderbilt were amazing and put me right at ease. And Ben was right at my side the entire time. I'm still nervous to be a mom of two,
but being a part of the miracle of birth is the most magical experience of my life. It makes me love Ben even more to see what our love and commitment has made.

Heading home from the hospital... When the nurse brought Lucas back to our room after his final check, he had this adorable pumpkin hat on! She said in the sweetest southern drawl, "now you can truly call him your lil' punkin."
Our first visitor...
My wonderful friend Lisa was our first visitor. She stayed with me for hours when Ben went home with Gram and Jackson.
