Jackson is 1 Year Old! Here we're getting ready for his first birthday party.

December 11, 2008-- Jackson's 1st Birthday!
I can't believe that my little baby is now a one-year-old boy! They're not joking about that whole "time flies" thing. We had a cozy party for Jack and introduced him to the world of balloons, party hats, chocolate cake and good friends.

Jackson absolutely loved the mylar balloons. I think they were his favorite part of the party.

Jackson's 1st Official Haircut!!!

December 13, 2008-- Jackson's 1st Official Haircut!
Our baby is now officially a boy! Jack, Ben and I went to Ben's barber shop and his barber, Mr. Lenny, so Jackson could get a trim. Jackson was wonderful! He didn't cry or even wiggle! I think he liked all the attention from the other men in the shop. :)

December 1, 2008-- Jackson takes his first steps!!!
Anyone who spends time with children knows how amazing the most common experiences can be when you see them through a child. Well, on Sunday night, Ben and I were blessed to be able to witness Jackson's first steps! We pulled out our little flip video camera because we were so excited to see Jack standing up and then he started walking right towards me! A part of me is a little sad that my baby is turning into a boy. But sharing these moments only reinforce how blessed we are to have Jackson in our life.

I can't believe Jackson will be one year old in less than two weeks! He is such a joy and had such a wonderful time with his cousins. I loved seeing them all together and I can't wait for our extended family to keep growing!

We had so much fun celebrating Thanksgiving with Auntie Karen! She made a wonderful meal and Jackson just adored playing with all of his cousins.

I can't believe how much Sophia and Josh have grown up!!! Sophia is now 11 and Josh is 15!

Karen had us entertained all weekend! We played lots of karaoke, Dance Dance Revolution, played badminton in the barn and more!
