McDonalds to the rescue

After being in the car for a while, Jackson was in desperate need for some playtime. He loved the McDonalds playland (the one that looks like a huge gerbil maze...) but Ben climbed up with him and hated it! Needless to say, Ben never wants to be in a giant gerbil maze again.

Great playground!

On our last night we found a great playground right next to our sushi restaurant. All the toys were made of this cool rubber!

Jack had a wonderful time playing with this little boy...who giggled the entire time!

Jackson and Cade!

Jackson and his buddy Cade had a great time playing together... using me as a horse!
I love sharing time with Cade and his wonderful mom Christian :)

Tubby Time with Cade!

Jackson and Cade had a blast sharing tubby time.

More tubby time!

Cade learns to say, "I don't know!"

Jack's 1st Love

April, 2009
Jackson & Gracyn at Vanderbilt Daycare
Jackson is so smitten with his buddy Gracyn. They play together all day and Jack loves to kiss Gracyn on the cheek!

Their friend Caleb was on the other side of the fence...

Gracyn is moving in July and I think my little boy will be heartbroken. This is how I imagine he'll feel.

Outside!

April, 2009
Jackson is 16 months old and he LOVES doing anything outside. In fact, "outside" is one of his clearest words. Thank goodness Tennessee weather is so warm!

Here our little muscle man is helping Daddy plant a vegetable garden. He was really putting all his might into this.

Easter, 2009

Happy Easter 2009!
I picked up our little boy from school and he had turned into a bunny!

More Easter, 2009

How cute are all the boys?

Jackson was supposed to be picking up Easter eggs... but he found a rolling cart instead.

Memories! Jackson's Barn

April, 2009-- Jackson is 16 months old!
Anyone who's heard any childhood stories from me knows how much I loved my cardboard house as a kid. Well, I couldn't resist buying this version for Jackson!

Trip to Baltimore

Dana's shower in Baltimore... March 13-15
O.K. I was really bad at taking pictures this trip... which is why there are no pics of Dana or any of my other family members!
But Jackson did love the dogs... especially Bernie.

Little Buckaroo

Jackson is the next Little Jimmy Dickens with his new hat we got at the Opry Originals store in Nashville. Our own little Buckaroo even got a harmonica to start spreading his own tune.

The original Little Jimmy Dickens- the oldest living member of the Grand Ole Opry- at age 88.

Amazing Omaha sunrises

One of the up sides of getting up at the crack of dawn with Jack was witnessing these amazing sunrises. The top one was my first morning and the bottom was my last morning in Omaha.
