Jackson's Baptism- April 13, 2008

What a wonderful and incredibly special day for our precious Jackson! On April 13, 2008 Jackson was baptised at Our Savior Lutheran Church. My sister Karen is his godmother... and she held him as I cried (surprise, surprise) and Pastor welcomed him into God's family. Karen also took all of these absolutely beautiful pictures!!!

It was an especially special day because Jack wore the christening gown that my mom made out of her wedding dress. It is so amazing to think that Jackson was baptised in the same dress I was! Because of that wonderful tradition, Jack's daddy was willing to look past the fact that his son was wearing a silk dress with flowers. My mom said that if the King of England can wear a dress at his baptism, Jackson can!
